Seven Key Social Skills and Seven Essential Cultural Competency Skills

Dr. Bill Howe will provide coaches an understanding of the difference between Social Skills and Cultural Competency Skills. The program will explain what each of these mean and how to translate them into actual behaviors for a global/diverse workplace. This lively and interactive talk is based on decades of experience working with thousands of individuals  in educational, nonprofit and corporate settings.

Learning Objectives:  Participants will learn how to
(1) Listen and observe cultural influences on behaviors.
(2) Coach/communicate with individuals on learning new skills that may be contradictory to cultural upbringing.
(3) Help clients become aware of powerful cultural influences on behaviors.
