Title:  : A Decade of E.I.:  Applied Emotional Intelligence@Work

Overview:  Becky Tise and Bruce Davidson bring a new and fresh perspective, strongly supported by the latest findings in neuroscience. This approach to E.I. adds the key element of “attitude” and explains how attitudes influence feelings, which fuels thinking and drives behavior. By changing attitudes, therefore, it is possible to create lasting change in behaviors, thoughts and feelings. This highly interactive session will explore a decade of research of E.I. by industry sector, job role, age, gender and global regions and countries. Additionally, the session will focus on how these findings and the addition of the attitudinal component of emotional intelligence can enhance professional coaching engagements.
General Session Learning Outcomes:
• Understanding of how adding the attitudinal component of E.I. to a coaching practice can fast track the path to more sustainable change
• Introduce a new and additional element of Emotional Intelligence to expand the definition beyond the 4-box model that will be already familiar to many.
• Thought-provoking understanding of the variations in E.I. by industry age, country, job role, etc.
Length: 60 mins (or 1 hour)
