Handling Difficult Coaching Situations:
a “Power Paradox”
Our April 10 Luncheon Program features Debjani Biswas, an international keynote speaker, thought leader, and author of Unleash the Power of Diversity (UPDIV), which is endorsed by Marshall Goldsmith (Thinkers50 Award Winner for Most Influential Leader Thinker in the World). Her original frameworks and concepts (The Five Judgments, Orchid Effect, and Singularity Dynamics) are being used in 23 countries. She is currently the Principal of Coachieve (www.coachieve.us) which specializes in leadership effectiveness.
Why are some coaching engagements and relationships inherently tougher than others? What can we do about it? How can we implement more effective approaches to this “Power Paradox”? The key is to maintain our coaching presence in the moment, take control of the situation, and bring ourselves and our clients back into a safer and more productive space.
Learning Outcomes:
In this highly interactive and exercise focused program we will practice asking powerful questions, active listening, and heightened self and client awareness. We will explore a step by step approach to handling difficult coaching scenarios.
