Preparing Yourself to Lead with Confidence in the New Year
presented by Kristin Derwinski
Our January 8 Program features Kristin Derwinski, a Talent and Culture Leader with a passion to drive Change and Business Transformation. She is a strong listener who can quickly identify simple business solutions to drive results. With over 25 years of experience in talent development, performance management and business process and system design, she has developed strong business partnerships and credibility across the globe.
Kristin has served in various internal domestic and international HR Leadership roles in retail and manufacturing. She has spent her career working with leaders to build high performing and development cultures. Kristin is a member of ICF and is currently pursuing her ACC credentials. She earned her MBA from Marquette University and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Spanish.
Program Description:
As we move into 2021, leaders with the skills to help organizations recover, adapt, learn, and grow are urgently needed. Join us to learn a proven three-prong approach grounded in skill sets related to resilience, empathy, and connection. These skills will help teams move forward together—whether they are remote or six feet apart.
This session is designed for anyone responsible for leading a team. We will explore these critical leadership skills and share helpful tools and tips needed to continue to grow as a confident leader in these uncertain times.
Program Outcomes:
Participants will learn:
How resilience, empathy, and connection are critical leadership traits
Approaches that enable employees to be more resilient and drive higher performance
How leaders can create psychological safety and HR’s role in supporting those leaders
How to build connection with your employees, peers, managers, and customers while creating an environment that encourages community and support
Best practices from leaders who have grown from their experiences and helped change cultures and organizations.
