Story Design: A Foundationally Human Approach to Coaching
presented by Rance Greene

Rance Greene formed needastory.com and the School of Story Design (schoolofstorydesign.com) for those who struggle with storytelling at work. His methodology—Story Design—gives leaders and talent development professionals a systematic and creative way for discovering who their audience is and how to persuade them to take action on new ideas. He helps leadership teams, entrepreneurs and coaches discover that they are uniquely equipped to tell the best story for their audiences. Rance is the author of Instructional Story Design, a practical guide for developing stories that train. He coaches, teaches, speaks, and writes often on the benefits of stories to connect people to one another. Rance will join us virtually for this program

Program Description:

We've all been told that the best communicators are good at storytelling. Neuroscience affirms this assertion, but very little instruction is available to those who want to actually do it well. As coaches, we are constantly communicating with our clients and potential clients. Learn the simple and creative process of Story Design to prepare for these conversations. Take your messaging to the story level. And learn some bonus tips on how to coach your executive clients to do the same.

Program Outcomes:

Participants will learn how to:
  • Share your own strategies for humanizing conversations with clients and potential clients
  • Ask the four essential questions before preparing for your next important message or coaching sessionCoach executives to bring storytelling in their own messaging
