About this event
August 12 Hybrid Chapter Meeting
Transformation through Biomarkers
Lizette Warner, PCC
ICF North Texas members have asked for returning to in-person meetings, but with a virtual option. Whether attending in-person or virtual, our goal is to offer a hybrid meeting that provides the best possible experience and value for all.
There is more complexity and expense to offering hybrid/streaming meetings compared to Zoom-only meetings. We hired an experienced professional producer to help facilitate this hybrid meeting, which is an added expense for our chapter.
The 2022 plan is to hold one hybrid meeting per quarter, with virtual Zoom-only meetings between that will remain $10.
Covid-19 Precautions For Face-to-Face Gatherings:
To provide the most comfortable in-person lunch meeting experience on January 14, here are some health precautions and arrangements we are taking:
- Social distancing – extra space between seats at the lunch table
- Lunch will be either individual box lunches or plated/served (instead of self-service buffet)
- Hand sanitizer will be available
- If you are not fully vaccinated, please wear a mask except when eating
- Masks are welcome, regardless of vaccination status
- Everyone is encouraged to be respectful of others’ space
- Always ask before physical contact (tip: an elbow-bump or fist-bump instead of handshake)
Dr. Lizette Warner is a Mayo Clinic and UT Dallas grad, with years of global leadership experience in Telecom and Healthcare. It may seem glamourous, but it’s no fun figuring out how to pay the bills and feed kids without an income or advance when your career’s been sabotaged by a ‘friend.’ Throw a little fire into the mix and that’s how she emerged, transformed as a Power, Poise and Presence Coach.
After working with numerous women leaders, each struggling with the same thing, Lizette used her engineering degree and went to work deconstructing the problem which landed her in the crossroads of Leadership and Biomarkers, typically a healthcare means to identify health or disease. Lizette took this learning and applied it in her coaching practice, creating a program to help leaders discover, identify and wield their own biomarkers. She’s put all her wisdom and the entire program in a book to help clients at scale. Some of her clients even call her the Biomarker Doctor.
Lizette has been invited as a speaker for TEDx and National and Global medical conferences, and has served on advisory boards, but her true love lies at the intersection of Biomarkers and Leadership. Her book about biomarkers and leadership presence is Power, Poise, and Presence, scheduled to publish in January 2023..
Program Description:
This program is designed to introduce you to the concept of biomarkers as a means for client transformation. Humans are replete with a variety of sensations and emotions, which evoke a variety of sights, textures, sounds, taste and smell. Most of the time we are oblivious to these which exist on a spectrum of quantitative or qualitative measures. However, your brain is constantly processing this information to lead you and your clients into certain ‘spaces’ or ways of being.
What if you could arrive to a way of being that is of your choosing? What if you could help your clients transform into a deeper awareness and appreciation for what makes certain ways of being available to them?
Program Outcomes:
In this one-hour program, Lizette will introduce you to the concept of biomarkers and how to use biomarkers as a way to elicit powerful coach/client transformation. Participants will learn:
- How to use the concept of biomarkers to engage powerfully with your Client (ICF CC 4 Cultivate Trust and Safety)
- How to recognize a biomarker moment (ICF CC 5 Maintains Presence)
- A framework to explore biomarkers with your client (ICF CC 4-7)
