Staci Witten, ACC

Our December 10 Webinar features Staci Witten, ACC. Staci is a leadership, business and career coach. She is also known to ‘geek out’ on all things digital marketing. Approximately 20 years ago, Staci was a human resources executive by day, and an entrepreneur by night. She founded a successful online company, Craft of the Month Club, Inc, where she created and sold monthly craft subscriptions. Since then, she has owned and sold various companies and continues to stay current on digital marketing trends. As a coach, she helps entrepreneurs overcome obstacles and embrace digital marketing and technology so they can leverage time and increase revenue.

During this webinar, Staci Witten, ACC, will share her strategy to take your social media presence to the next level. You will learn how to be strategic in your approach, and spend less than one hour each week creating multiple pieces of content to post across various platforms. Coaching in DFW into 2021

As coaches, we come alongside our clients and support them into what they want out of life. Similarly, ICF comes alongside all of us to support us to our next level as coaches. As we move beyond 2020, coaching is becoming more important to our community. It is a great time to take a fresh look at our market as we enter the needs of 2021.

We recently had the chance to interview our ICF North Texas member Teresa Pool, MCC, who is also a past president of our chapter, President of Transitions for Business, and ACTP Director of Training at the UT-Dallas Executive Business and Coaching Program. With this variety of roles and years of experience, Teresa has an expansive view of our DFW market for coaching.

When we asked about trends in her own business as well as in training student coaches, she shared, “I see how many coaches are excited about the field, invest in training, and yet have challenges learning to be an entrepreneur. They often struggle to get the message out to the right audience in right way and right timingwhich is a big contrast to the exciting marketplace opportunities all around us.” A coach for more than 19 years, Teresa said, “I still don’t see an end to the growth. There are actually going to be more internal coaching jobs because business leaders are realizing how coaching at more levels continues to bring a strong return on investment.” From Teresa’s perspective, for both internal and external coaching roles, “the trajectory of coaching continues to go up and up and up!”

Leaders of organizations have come to understand and believe that, as Teresa says, “coaching works, it really works. When people experience being listened to, fully heard… to reflect and experience powerful questions… it really works.”

Rest assured, ICF-North Texas and ICF Global are continually look for ways to help coaches connect with the many opportunities in our marketplace. With this in mind, we have already begun to include more marketing programs in our plans for 2021 and are considering additional pro bono coaching opportunities to increase our connections with our community. We are grateful for members like Teresa who help our chapter to keep a pulse on the coaching marketplace across DFW and what is ahead. Especially with the challenges of the pandemic, people need our services, and we want to help our coaches get all the business they want.

2020 Texas Conference for Women a Big Success

For the fourth year running thanks to the generosity of 51 volunteer coaches from all four ICF Texas chaptersAustin, Houston, North Texas and San Antonioover 450 attendees experienced coaching (many for the first time) through the first-ever virtual Texas Conference for Women’s Coaches Corner.

The 21st Annual Texas Conference for Women (TCW), normally a one-day event, was held over seven days in October, with 10,000 attendees from all over the United States. Attendees signed up for available coaching slots and all were filled by the noon of the second day. Despite numerous technical issues in getting everyone connected virtually, feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Thank you to all who participated!
